The Brazzaville Department of Interior in a circular issued in Brazzaville on Monday has announced that entry visa will no longer be issued upon arrival to those coming into the country.
It stated that "without visa, those coming into the country will be turned back on arrival.''
It added that henceforth, those wishing to travel to the country must obtain their visa from the Congolese Diplomatic Mission in the countries where they are domiciled.
The department said the circular took effect on Nov. 12, 2013.
However no reason was given for the change.
