Diezani Alison-Madueke has declared that she is not seeking asylum anywhere.
The petroleum minister, on Tuesday night, refuted Sahara Reporters's statement, speaking through Mr. Ohi Alegbe, the Group Public Affairs General Manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, said she had never contemplated leaving Nigeria.
It will be recalled that Sahara Reporters published a story yesterday alleging that Diezani had been denied asylum in six countries (conveniently omitting mention of any of the six countries.)
