Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi east, on Wednesday referred to Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, as “speaker by force”.
Melaye said this yesterday during the inauguration ceremony of Yahaya Bello, the new governor of Kogi state.
While acknowledging dignitaries, Melaye, who delivered the welcome address at the event, described Saraki as “the irremovable president”.
According to theCable, Melaye said it was God who made it possible for Bello to emerge governor, urged the people to support him to transform the state.
“I have the privilege to appreciate the best chairman of the best political party in south of the Sahara and north of the Lipopo, former governor, former permanent secretary, the only authentic chairman that produced the most transparent president in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun,” he said.
