8:14am : Voting materials have arrived some polling unit. Premium Times has just reported voters agitation at Ekiti State Government College, Ado Ekiti (Ward 13 Unit 18) as the school security men lock voters and election officials outside. According to one of the security men, he has 'order from above' not to allow voters inside the school compound.

An APC agent at Ward 20 Iyin has complained that some voters names are absent in the master list despite appearing on the valid registration list pasted on the wall. Accreditation on Ward 20 is now put on hold

Meanwhile, at the polling unit in Mary Mount Catholic Pry School, Oke-Ila, there is something of a furore. Security agens are working to restore peace there.

The process is however orderly in Jonathan Memorial Pry School, Ajilosun Ado-Ekiti.

Meanwhile, the former governor of Ekiti state, Niyi Adebayo, says that the turnout in his constituency is 70%.

He expressed satisfaction at the supply of voting materials.

He however noted that it would be hasty to use the accreditation process to predict the voting process until voting begins proper.

INEC has warned that anyone at the Polling Unit without his/her voters card stands the risk of being arrested by security agents.

According to Premium Times, In Ekiti South West LG, Ilawe ward, PU007, 011,010 have 292, 369 &182 registered voters respectively.

There is ongoing fierce argument on a supposed polling unit in Oyamokore farmstead in Erijiyan LGA. Some claim nobody lives there any longer. Some claim they always vote here.

Only voters with permanent voters cards will be allowed to vote, INEC says, adding that over 400,000 registered voters collected their permanent cards.

If you have your PVC and can't find your name on the register, you are probably at a wrong Polling Unit. You can check your Polling Unit by sending an SMS with your State,Last Name,Voter Identification No(VIN) to 081-7164-6879

INEC has just announced that if voters names are on the original register of voters at the PU but not found on the photocopy of the PVC distribution register, once their face corresponds with the pic on their PVC, they can vote
