According to Premium Times, resident of Ado have trooped out to the street jubilating over Fayose's victory in some polling units

The governorship candidate of the PDP, Mr Ayo Fayose, has said he would accept the out come of the election "whichever way it goes."

The Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Jelili Adesiyan, has stated that the election in Ekiti would be a true reflection of the people's wish.

"Gone are the days of bogus election results; gone are the days of using thugs to unleash terror on the people

“The Nigeria Police will not allow impostors and electoral thugs," he said.

Official results yet to be released, however it seems the APC candidate, Kayode Fayemi has already accepted defeat. Reports from his situation room claim that he has already come in to thank the staff for their support, urging them to keep believing in Nigeria. #EkitiDecides

PDP Candidate, Fayose has been declared winner with 203, 090 votes . Fayemi came second with 120, 433 votes. Bamidele of Labour Party came third with 18,135 votes.
