As the sun sets for the present Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi to vacate office for the new leadership in the state, the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the incoming Ayodele Fayose government will not recognize all appointments and recruitment made after the June 21 governorship election by the current governor.
The party’s Publicity Secretary in the state, Pastor Kola Oluwawole, who disclosed this in a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, said the party also had records of staff strength in the state public service before June 21 poll and was following the bogus appointments and illegal recruitment being done in various sectors afterwards.
It noted that the Fayemi Administration has acted callously and primitively as no responsible outgoing government will put landmines on the path of its successor through frivolous recruitment and booby elevation to its top- most positions few weeks to the handover.
