Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has nominated Otunba Yinka Akerele, as the choice ministerial nominee from the state.
According to DAILY POST, Femi Bamisile, Vice Chairman, Ekiti State PDP, described Akerele as an “astute manager of people and resources, who is contributing immeasurably to the private sector of the economy".
“Ekiti PDP is proud to nominate one of its business and politics savvy sons to President Goodluck Jonathan for consideration as a member of the executive cabinet,” he said.
“The choice of Otunba Yinka Akerele was informed by his proven track record of performance in the private sector and as a successful entrepreneur. We are certain that he will leverage on his talents to add significant momentum to the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan".
