Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari will not directly be Nigeria's petroleum minister.
Speaking in a CNN interview, Sanusi said Buhari will head the Federal Ministry of Petroleum resources for about a year or a year and a half to stabilize it before handing over to a minister.
According to him, it will take as long as 18 months for Buhari to complete an internal review and overhaul of the oil ministry, and the NNPC.
