Politics Fani-Kayode Appointed Chairman of President Jonathan's Campaign Organization

Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria's former aviation minister has been appointed as the Director of Media and Publicity for the President Goodluck Jonathan campaign team.

A statement issued by President Jonathan's political adviser, Rufai Alkali, said the campaign group will be headed by former National Chairman of the party Ahmadu Ali (Director-General) and Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees Chief Tony Anenih (National Campaign Adviser).

Tunde Adeniran will serve as Deputy DG, while Minister of Special Duties Kabiru Turaki and former Anambra governor Peter Obi will serve as deputy DGs for north and south respectively.

Other team members include; Jerry Gana, Dr Aliyu Modibo Umar, Senator Nenadi Usman, Senator Nimi Amange, Ambassador Emmanuel Imohe, and Abdullahi Hussani Maibasira.
