A 15-year-old boy was pulled over by police as he drove his four-year-old sister to school with his dad in the back seat.
None of them were found wearing seat belts when the police stopped the Ford Focus they were in
The youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also driving on false number plates when he was stopped.
After police confirmed the diver was a child, he was reported for driving without a license or insurance.
His dad was also reported for letting his son drive the car.
The family were pulled over during a road safety operation around Mill Hill Academy, in Staffordshire, yesterday morning.
A police spokesman said: ‘This was part of a national campaign targeting drivers not using seatbelts.
‘It particularly focused on children who were not correctly restrained when they were being taken to Mill Hill Academy.
‘During this operation a Ford Focus was stopped as officers could see none of the occupants – the driver, a young girl and a man – were wearing seatbelts.
‘It was established that the driver was only 15 years old, the adult was his father and the young girl his sister. The car was also using false plates.
‘The father has been reported for allowing the 15-year-old to drive with no licence and no insurance. The 15-year-old was reported for driving with no licence and no insurance.’
