Hon. Ajibola Famurewa has urged Nigerians to stop taking Ekiti state governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, and his aides serious over their continued attack on the federal government.
His comments follow Aisha Buhari's visit to Washington yesterday for a 7-day stay. This was after Fayose's claim that Aisha couldn't visit the United States because she is wanted for her involvement in the Halliburton scandal.
Famurewa also condemned Fayose for alleging that “Aisha Buhari” was mentioned in related -court documents despite the fact that reputable media outfits’ investigations showed that there is no “Aisha Buhari” mentioned in the Halliburton scandal.
According to Famurewa, Fayose and his co wailers in his party are people of self-imposed frustration borne out of their inability to move on after the election defeat.
He, however, challenged the Ekiti governor to dare step on the American soil as the Nigeria’s first lady has done since he also has diplomatic immunity.
