Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola, has been urged by Ekiti State governor-elect, Ayo Fayose, to come to terms with the result of the Ekiti State governorship election and desist from disparaging the people of the state for choosing whom they like as their next governor.
Fashola had twice in his reaction to the Ekiti election, disparaged the people of the state for refusing to renew the mandate of Governor Kayode Fayemi, but instead voted for Fayose as the replacement for him.
A PDP leader and former Attorney General of Ekiti State Barr Owoseni Ajayi, reacting on behalf of Fayose said the comments ascribed to Fashola are unbecoming of a state governor as his words are direct insults on the sensibility of the people.
