Nigeria - Nigerians living in some areas of Lagos and Ogun states are expected to experience an improvement in power supply as FG says it has taken steps to decongest the overloaded Egbin power lines and Ikeja West which will ease power transmission to the areas, Tribune reports.

Vice President, Namadi Sambo, stated this at the commissioning of the 330/132/33kV power transmission infrastructure, at Oke-Aro, Lagos-Ogun border lines.
Sambo explained that the Oke-Aro project is one in the series of power projects completed by Niger Delta Power Holding Company, NDPHC under National Independent Power Project, NIPP’s, three tiers of Nigerian government programme aimed at boosting economic and industrial development of the country.
