Mbu Joseph Mbu, the Rivers state Commissioner of Police has been redeployed to Abuja to serve as a Commissioner of Police incharge of the Federal Capital Territory.
Mbu's redeployment was announced via a communique issued by the Police Service Commission on Thursday.
Johnson Tunde Ogunsakin, who was formerly in charge of the Special Fraud Investigations Unit in Lagos has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police for Rivers state.
Other than Mbu, 12 other commissioners of police were also redeployed, view communique below.

The Police Service Commission has approved the recommendations of the Inspector General of Police for the redeployment of thirteen (13) Commissioners of Police to various Commands nationwide:
