The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, outgoing Clerk to the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa and the Deputy Clerk, Ben Efeturi are being tried at a Federal High Court in Abuja over the alleged forgery.

Here are 5 possible questions the senators may want him to answer:

1. Your office instituted a forgery case against Senate President, Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, and two top management staff of the National Assembly, what are your justifications for this action?

2. We have discovered that the names of the Senate President and his deputy are not among the ones listed in the petition filed by the aggrieved members of the Senate Unity Forum (SUF), what’s the basis of their involvement?

3. Considering the doctrine of separation of power, to what extent can your office serve as an instrument of interfering in senate matters?

4. If the Senate rules is forged, what rules screened you to assume office (AGF)?

5. What is the role of the federal government and the presidency in the whole forgery issue?
