Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has reshuffled the Directors of the apex bank and assigned them to new positions, Vanguard reports.
This follows accusations of mismanaging the Nigerian economy and foreign exchange from several sectors of the economy.
The Director of Corporate Communications, Alh. Ibrahim Muazu, has been moved to the Strategy Management Department (SMD), while his office remains vacant, as no replacement has been named.
While Alvan Ikoku is the new Director for the Trade & Exchange Department, Edward Adamu was appointed the new Director of Human Resources, Olasukanmi Gbadamosi is Director of the Legal Department; Chizoba Mojekwu will monitor Capacity Development Department and the International Training Institute (ITI) Learning Centre.
