Gunmen on Tuesday shot dead a member of the Somali parliament in Mogadishu, security officials and witnesses said.
Abdiaziz Isak Mursal, a member of parliament was gunned down outside his home.
The Security official, Ali Kulmiye said that security forces were doing a house-to-house search for the killers.
Report says the killing came just one day after another lawmaker was killed by a car bomb in the Somali capital.
It added that six Somali lawmakers have been killed in Mogadishu since the 275-seat parliament was formed in 2012.
The radical Islamist group al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for most of the killings.
