Metro Gunmen Raid Plateau Village, 20 Persons Killed

On Thursday, unknown gunmen stormed Mavou village in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau state, killing 20 persons, razing buildings and leaving several others injured.

According to residents, the gunmen invaded the village at abut 2a.m.The motive for the attack remains relatively unknown, meanwhile, additional security had been deployed to the area to restore normalcy.

This latest killing is coming barely 48 hours after over 30 people were killed in two villages of Riyom LGA.
