The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Hameed Ali, has approved the promotion of all HND holders at the agency.
According to an officer of the agency, all HND holders on salary level GL 07 have been promoted to level GL 08.
Furthermore, Hameed Ali said a supplementary budget will be made to cater for the salary arrears of the affected staff.
He added that 3,487 senior officers of the Customs have also been promoted.
