Master Wan, a Chinese boss at Bedmate Furniture Company, Magboro, Ogun State, has allegedly destroyed spinal bone of one of his staff with his kung fu skill, Punch reports.
The 27-year-old worker, William Ekanem, had reportedly challenged the Chinese for poking his nose into the rice he bought from a foodstuffs seller on the premises of the company..
PUNCH gathered that Master Wan, who is skilled in kung fu, after forcefully checking the content, Ekanem said he was leaving when Boss allegedly gave him a kick in the back, which sent him sprawling on the ground.
The suspect was said to have stamped his foot on the victim before he was rescued by some other workers on the premises.
It was gathered that since the incident, Ekanem had not been able to walk well or stand straight.
The victim said although the case was reported at the Ibafo Police Station, the Divisional Crime Officer allegedly took a N50,000 bribe from the Chinese company.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the Divisional Police Officer of the Ibafo Police Station was on special duties in Maiduguri and will gt back to PUNCH correspondent as soon as he gets feedback from Ibafo.
