President Goodluck Jonathan said that hunger will chase back members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP who are currently defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to PUNCH, the President spoke shortly after receiving the report of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation led by Senator Ahmadu Ali at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said all members of the PDP who defected to the APC because he lost the March 28 presidential election would return with empty stomach as the leaders of the APC would first settle their existing members before thinking of settling defectors.
Jonathan said “food” may have finished before it gets to the turn of the defectors to eat.
