Governor Muazu Aliyu Babangida of Niger State yesterday revealed that the Presidency wielded the big stick against him for leading the G7 Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Aliyu, who spoke during a visit to him by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Asabe Asmau Mohammed, regretted the negative political tendency in the country, which metes out punishment on anybody that disagrees with the powers that be on any issue.
According to the governor, because of his leadership of the G7 the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Aviation, refused to give approval to his state to operate Cargo Airport in Minna.
