The wind of impeachment of governors which began last Monday with the removal of the Adamawa State governor, Rear Admiral Murtala Nyako, is fast spreading to other states, and baring last-minute political maneuvering, the wind may blow to four other states.
Among the states that may also be affected by the wind of impeachment currently blowing are Nasarawa, Edo, Borno and Rivers .
In these states, apart from the Nasarawa state governor, Tanko Al-Makura who has been served impeachment notice, other governors are tightening up all loop holes to ensure that they are not caught unawares. The APC leadership had also last week disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Presidency are behind the plot to remove the APC governors in the mentioned states.
