Politics INEC to Conduct Mock Elections in 12 States Tomorrow [SEE LIST]

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC will on Saturday conduct mock elections in 225 polling units (358 voting points), across 12 states of the federation.

The mock elections are to test the e-card readers that will be used in the March 28 and April 11 elections.

I think this is to end the raging argument: 'how do you conduct an election using a method you haven't even tested?'

I was listening to an interesting debate on-air as to why the PDP wanted the card readers scrapped, and this is probably INEC's way of justifying itself.

I find the whole mock election/card testing worrisome; Jega lied about February 14, blamed the military....he owes them a big apology.

I agree. Jega was not ready but the postponement hit APC's momentum. The international PR firm must now be out of contract as the recent arrangements has been less than impressive
