The Joint Task Force (JTF) in the Niger Delta, code-named, ‘Operation Pulo Shield’ has deployed troops to Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State following an intra-communal crisis that has torn the community apart.
Daily Independent investigation showed that the crisis was triggered by chieftaincy tussle, which heightened insecurity in the community in January this year.
No fewer than three persons were said to have been killed in the mayhem in the last three months.
