The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, has lashed out at Festus Keyamo, for calling for the swearing in of Dr Uche Ogah as Governor of Abia State.
A statement signed by OYC chairperson in Abia state, Okemiri Alex and obtained by DAILY POST read, ''The recent vexatious antics and vituperations of one Barrister Festus Keyamo, who asked for the swearing-in of Dr. Uche Ogar as Abia State Governor is a slap on the legal profession.
“It is nothing but a verbal diarrhoea. Is Keyamo not aware that the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, is in the Appeal Court to challenge the decision of the Federal High Court in Abuja?
“Why do all manner of people make unguarded statements on the Abia issue just to be noticed, rewarded or just talk for talking sake?
“Festus Keyamo should keep his mouth shut and allow the Court of Appeal at Abuja to do its job. There should be no trial on the pages of the newspaper.
“Even the AGF has made it clear that the case should be unfettered even up to the Supreme Court, if necessary.”
