Nigeria needs collaboration between economic stakeholders and government to overcome the current recession it's passing through, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele has stated.
During a visit by f the Senate Committee on Finance, Insurance and other Financial Institutions to the Central Bank, Emefiele expressed happiness over the support CBN had gotten from the national assembly in the past.
However, he said it's not easy to manage the Nigerian economy as it is.
“I must confess that it is difficult, but I must also say that the challenges are easily surmountable. We will continue to crave the support of the Senate; we will continue to crave the support of the committee, just as you have done in the past, to help achieve the common objective of lifting our country and making Nigeria an inhabitable place for Nigerians.”
