Sports Morocco awaits CAF's decision on hosting the 2015 African Nations Cup

Morocco is yet to make a final decision whether they will still host the 2015 African Cup of Nations tournament.

The North Africans wants the tournament to be delayed following the outbreak of Ebola Virus on the African, but the continental football body, CAF is adamant that it will not be postponed.

Already talks have surfaced that CAF might strip them of the hosting rights and award it to another nation who would to stage the biennial event.

Morocco's Sports Mohammed Ouzzine said that: “It’s too early to speak of a definitive decision,” whether the tournament will go on as planned.

“This question will be handled by those responsible at CAF.

“This demand is motivated essentially by the last report from the World Health Organisation, which contained alarming numbers at the extent and spread of the virus.

CAF’s executive committee will meet next month in Algiers to discuss Morocco’s request.
