Daniel Ortega, the President of Nicaragua wants to remove the limits on presidential terms and will change the constitution to reach his goal.
Opposition are however not happy about this move calling it a dangerous power grab.
The odds are in Ortega's favour however. His political party makes up the majority of the government.
The proposal will be going to vote next month.
