The Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Mr. Abdullahi Muhammadu, has stated that attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta will soon end.
According to him, government is engaging the aggrieved militants in a series of negotiations.
“At the last meeting we had, we discussed at length and very soon all these bombings will come to an end," he said. “The government is trying to negotiate with them with a view to finding out why they are doing it so in order as to get to the root of the problem.’’
