Today, 9 states in Nigeria are marking the 25th anniversary of existence.

The states were created by the Ibrahim Babangida military regime.

The states that celebrating their 25th anniversary today are:

Edo,

Kebbi,

Anambra,

Enugu,

Taraba,

Kogi,

Osun,

Jigawa and

Delta.
