Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola claims that the Nigerian government has been lying to both local and foreign investors; THIS DAY reports.
Fashola made the claim during the inauguration of the Cooperative Home Ownership Incentive Scheme (CHOIS) city at Agbowa, Ikosi-Ejirin and the first solar-powered primary healthcare (PHC) centre in Epe.
He said, ''The federal government is ignorant and later lied to Nigerians. This is an indication that they do not know what to do on the challenges confronting this country, especially on insecurity.
''On insecurity confronting our country, first the federal government lied that their political opponent were the cause of insecurity. Later, they lied that it was people in its Federal Executive Council. After that, they told Nigerians that those behind the insecurity in Nigeria were foreigners. Again, in their usual tactics, they said some saboteurs who were behind the insecurity in the country.
