Nigeria - The current fuel crisis plaguing the nation is starting to affect the banking industry with Guaranty Trust Bank announcing that as from Today, all of its branches nationwide will close by 1pm as opposed to the normal 4pm.
"The current shortage of petroleum products in the country has liited our ability to supply diesel to all our branches in order to continue normal branch operations," the bank announced in a statement yesterday.
"Due to this, we unavoidably have to close our branches nationwide at 1pm, from tomorrow Monday 25th May 2015."
The bank promised to offer services within its capacity and apologized for any inconveniences.
