Super Eagles Ex- Coach Amodu Shuaibu is Dead - Former Super Eagles’ coach, Amodu Shuaibu is dead. The sportsman died barely four days after former coach, Stephen Keshi’s demise. The four - time Coach of the Super Eagles complained of chest pains on Friday night and died in his sleep, according to Nigerian Football Federation. Shuaibu who was a Technical Director at Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) died at age 58.

1. President Buhari Heads To London For Medical Treatment – President Mohammadu Buhari on Monday travelled to London for a 10-day Medical attention. According to the Buhari's Media Aide, Femi Adesina, the President will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection.
2. Unpaid Salary: Ekiti Teacher Steals Pot Of Amala From Neighbour - A teacher in Igede Ekiti, the headquarters of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area in Ekiti State, on Sunday stole a pot of amala (yam flour meal) from a neighbour’s flat.
3. Kaduna: Muslim Youths Stab Christian Man For Eating During Ramadan Fasting -
A 41- year old carpenter, Francis Emmanuel, was on Tuesday afternoon stabbed by unknown youths for eating during Ramadan fasting.
4. Hillary Clinton Breaks Record, Becomes First Female US Democratic Nominee - Hillary Clinton has clinched the Democratic nomination for United States president after reaching the required number of delegates. Clinton will become the first female nominee for a major US political party.
5. UNILAG Students Drown In Beach During Birthday Party - Funmi, 24, and Shola, 27, postgraduate students of the University of Lagos were reportedly drowned in Elegushi beach during a birthday party.
6. Dokpesi Narrowly Escapes Death, Police Detail Shot Dead - Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications reportedly escaped death on Saturday in what appears to be an assassination attempt.
7. BET Awards 2016: Falz Nominated as Best New International Act
Popular Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, stage-named 'Falz', has been nominated for the 2016 BET Awards Viewers’ Choice awards in the ‘Best New International Act’ category.
8. Niger Delta Avengers Make Fresh Demand
The Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, on Thursday said that the people of Niger Delta want to assume ownership of their resources, and urged the international community to support the quest.
9. Buhari Submits Ambassadorial Nominees To Senate: President Mohammadu Buhari on Thursday forwarded a list of 47 ambassadorial nominees to the Nigerian senate.
10. Stephen Keshi Dies At 54 - Former Super Eagles Coach and one time defender of the Super Eagles, Stephen Okechukwu Kechi is dead. Keshi who was 54-years-old died at the wee hours of Wednesday, in Benin.
