Nigeria might be set to experience another round of fuel scarcity as the NNPC according to the realities on ground, has run out of petroleum products.
The NNPC has been the major importer of petroleum products following government's disagreement with major oil marketers in the country over subsidies.
There are reports that queues at filling stations are reappearing in several parts of the country.
Also, activities at the various petrol depots in the Apapa axis of Lagos and other parts of the country were grounded on Thursday following very poor supply of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to them.
Oil marketers believe the NNPC had run out of supply and lack the facilities to handle importation of fuel alone.
The NNPC however says it still has enough petrol supply to last the country for weeks.
