Nigerian Senate on Wednesday sworn in Senator Andrew Uchendu representing Rivers East Senatorial district who replacesd Senator Sekibo due to Court ruling .
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu administered the oath of office on Senator Uchedu.
The Court of Appeal in Abuja had sacked George Sekibo as Rivers East Senator, upholding an earlier ruling of the Rivers National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal, which duly returned Uchendu as the duly elected senator for the zone.
