Politics Nigerian Senate to Open Direct Communication Channel With Nigerians

According to Senate President Bukola Saraki, the 8th Senate will open a direct 'communication' channel with Nigerians.



"Everyone must take advantage by contacting their Senators for oversight of agencies," Saraki said.

He urged Nigerians to engage Senators by "bringing it to our attention so we can better represent you."

He says the 8th Senate has hit the ground running despite experiencing some distractions.

"I made a promise that 8th Senate will be a different Senate. This will be your Senate with your support & prayers we will not be distracted!" he concluded.

I've long been saying it prior to 9th June Open Nass elections that this coming administration under 8th assembly will never leave any stone untouched in fulfilling there electoral promises to Nigerians and that's what we are becoming to witness within short period of time.
Introduction of E-Parliament system in the National assembly will be a great move by helping the community have there say and contribute their quota on the affairs of the National Assembly.
I commend the leadership of the 8th assembly for this new technique that could facilitate more betterment and openness of the so called Open Nass.
