Following Nollywood actor and entrepreneur, Jim Iyke's recent disclosure that he owns 125 sunglasses and 200 pairs of sneakers and shoes, Nigerians have expressed mixed reactions over the actor's revelation.

125 sunglasses, 200 pairs of shoes, and ... perhaps ... 500 belts and 2,000,000 wrist watches! This is interesting and not so extraordinary. It is the 'stuffocation' habit in many of us in a country such as Nigeria that is deeply engrossed in extreme consumerism. Painfully, the only way to enjoy these collections is to come and say it on the pages of newspaper. A Chinese proverbs says: "It is difficult to climb a mountain; and it is much more difficult not to talk about being on top of the mountain." While I respect your personal choices, I commend you for coming here to say it. I appreciate you for looking good always.
