Ondo- The Ondo State House of Assembly has declared a seven-day mourning for the deceased Speaker of the House, Mr Samuel Adesina.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Mr Oye Aladetan, told newsmen on Wednesday in Akure that all legislative activities and administrative business of the House would cease during the period.
He said that the House has appointed a committee to organise activities for the burial of the late Speaker in collaboration with his immediate family.
He described the death of Adesina as shocking, adding that it was a great loss to the assembly and people of the state.
Adesina died in the early hours of Tuesday after a prolonged battle with cancer.
