The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has condemned the statement credited to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, over the forthcoming governorship poll in the state.
Omisore, in a statement signed by the Director, Media and Strategy of his campaign organisation, Prince Diran Odeyemi , wondered why the National Leader of a party would chose an ivory tower to incite people against one another.
During his recent investiture as Chancellor of the of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, and award of honorary Doctor of Science in Management Science yesterday, Tinubu had been quoted as saying that the fprth copming elections in Osun and Ekiti state would “be rig and roast”. But according to Sen. Omisore, “ It is unthinkable that in spite of bloodletting by Boko Haram when all hands should be on deck to solve this menace, a party leader would be calling for shedding of more blood.
