Based on unofficial reports, former APC Chairman, Bisi Akande and former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola both lost their polling units to the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP.
PUNCH reported that in Oyinlola’s ward, APC scored 61 votes while PDP garnered 125. At the Akande's polling unit, APC had 93 while PDP got 97 votes.
