Panic at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (FETHA), in Ebonyi State, on Sunday, as two doctors and a nurse serving feared dead following a fresh outbreak of Lassa fever disease in the state.
Also, a medical student and a nurse were hospitalised for reportedly contacting the dread disease.
According to Daily Sun, the duo were at the moment receiving treatment with poor prognostic indices.
When contacted on the telephone, the Chairman, Nigeria Medical Association in the state, Dr. Austin Ikwudimma, confirmed the outbreak of the disease to the medium.
He, however, expressed fear that more people might be affected as it has potency of wide range spread.
