The parents of schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State have vowed to go into the Sambisa forests in order to search for their daughters no matter the consequences.

Speaking to our correspondent, one of the parents, Malam Bitrus Audu, aged 49, said, “We want the government to do everything within its reach to track down these evil people.” He added: “Don't let our daughters’ vision be aborted by wicked and heartless people.”

Meanwhile, the principal of the GGSS, Asabe Kwambura, has appealed to the insurgents to “have mercy on the innocent girls.”
