The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted an 18-man reconciliation committee that will look into the crisis rocking the party.
The BoT Chairman of the PDP, Senator Walid Jibrin, also urged members of the party who have filed cases in court to rethink their decisions in the interest of peace and unity of the party.
He appealed to all warring factions in the party to sheathe their sword and give peace a chance.
The Chairman of the reconciliation committee, Professor Jerry Gana, on his part promised that the committee would work assiduously to broker peace between all the PDP members.
The committee has been given seven days to submit its report.
