Oba Olu Adeyemi, the traditional ruler of Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State, on Wednesday said six persons died in Tuesday’s petrol tanker accident that occurred in the town.
He said the accident, which occurred around 7.00 p.m. was as a result of the loss of control of the tanker by the driver according to what he was told.
He added that the entire content of petrol inside the tanker was burnt.
Four occupants of a two-storey building and two road side GSM recharge card vendors reportedly died in the incident.
