Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan in a letter sent to the senate on Wednesday has proposed $78 as the benchmark price for a barrel of crude oil and fixed the exchange rate at N160 per dollar for the 2015 national budget, Punch says.
The document also set oil production projection for 2015 at 2.2782 million barrel per day, which is lower than the 2.3883 million bpd programmed for this year.
