Nigeria police detectives have commenced moves to re-arrest principal suspects in Chief Bola Ige's unresolved murder case, in a bid to fish out the real perpetrators, Vanguard says.
The detectives are recalling the old files and are studying the confessional statements and investigative reports, with a view to getting ideas on new leads to follow.
The suspects targeted, according to Vanguard, are mostly those arrested in 2002, including some who were sent to jail but somehow found their way out and partook in the 2003 elections.
Also, all forensic analyses reports which were inconclusive, will now be concluded with the new technology available to the Police.
