Ifiema Igali, 22, an awaiting corps member, who went missing in Bayelsa State has been found dead in Lagos State three days later. Ifiema was among the Batch A, Stream 2 graduates posted to Benue State for the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.
He reportedly left Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital on Thursday, May 19, 2016 to collect his result at Niger Delta University, where he studied Geography and Environmental Management.
The deceased failed to return home which got the family members worried and all efforts to reach him proved abortive as calls placed to his phones were left unanswered.
A policeman attached to the Ojodu-Abiodun Division, Ogun State, was said to have called a family member on Monday, May 23, 2016 to inform them that Igali was found dead and foaming in the mouth and nose by the roadside in Berger, Lagos State.
It was gathered that there were no marks in his body, but he foamed in themouth. Investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the death.
