Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday met with Northern leaders to discuss the quit notice handed to Igbos in the North.
During the meeting, Osinbajo said while some people might say the ultimatum should be ignored, “it is important we address it promptly.”
“Every form of hate speech and every stone thrown in the market will hit a target unintended.”
“We will take very serious any attempt to disrupt the peace of this country. We cannot control violence when it begins,” the acting president cautioned.
