The House of Representatives have postponed the hearing of three members of the House of Representatives accused of sexual misconduct.
The United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James Entwistle, had petitioned the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, accusing some members of the lower chamber of improper conduct, attempted rape and soliciting for prostitutes while on official trip to the US.
The House had promised to investigate the case under a transparent atmosphere but the hearing could not start today.
According to reports, the trial was postponed due to the absence of the Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Geoffery Onyeama.
